Administrative/Biographical History
Yiddish monthly established in New York, 1892 as an organ of the Socialist Labor Party. Its early editors included Philip Krantz, Abraham Cahan and Morris Winchevsky. In 1912, the Forward Association acquired the *Zukunft* and from 1913 to 1938 Abraham Liessin was its editor. Later editors included Hillel Rogoff, David Pinsky, Shmuel Niger and Jacob Glatstein. Since 1912 the *Zukunft* has been published by the Forward Association.
