Brief Description: The collection relates to the activities of the Foundation on behalf of German and Austrian refugee scholars during the Nazi period.  Correspondence with organizations and about individual refugees seeking positions in American universities.  Included are the American Committee for Christian Refugees, American Jewish Committee, National Coordinating Committee, Emergency Committee in Aid of Displaced German Scholars (1940-1942), Joint Committee for the Readjustment of German Jews.  Personal Data forms filled out by individuals.
