Founded in New York in 1910 by immigrants from Sambor, Ukraine. Incorporated in 1915.  Formed a *Hevrah Kadisha* (burial committee) to perform traditional burial rites. Affiliated with the Federation of Polish Jews and with the Erste Samborer K.U.V.  Established the United Samborer Relief Society, Inc., 1937.
