Administrative/Biographical History
Folklorist, photographer. Specialist in Jewish funerary art in Poland. Together with husband Stanislaw Krajewski, conducted many expeditions throughout Poland and discovered old Jewish cemeteries and tombstones, most of them in disuse. Studied and photographed engravings on tombstones. Krajewska's photographs were shown in an exhibition in Poland titled 'A Time of Stone'. She authored a book by the same title. In 1984, an exhibit of her photographs titled "Traces in the Landscape" was organized by the YIVO Institute in New York. Lives in Warsaw, Poland.
