Brief Description: The collection consists of jewelry and ornamental objects made by Yemenite Jews in the late 19th century and no later than World War I and numbers 130 items. The second part of the collection consists of 509 silver craft objects made in Mandatory Palestine by Yemenite Jewish immigrants. There are also a number of pieces made by non-Jewish craftpersons. Accompanying the craftwork is a collection of literature comprising 189 items which provides background and research information on the craftwork.
