Administrative/Biographical History
Founded in New York in 1886 by immigrants from Lodz, Poland. In 1891 the society was known as Lodzer Lodge 23, but resigned from the Lodge in 1895. In 1918 it was reorganized under the present name. The society provided charitable and burial benefits as well as holding social events. It used the Cedar Park, Mt. Hebron, and Mt. Zion cemeteries.
