Founded in New York on April 20, 1911, by immigrants from Dubno (Dubna), in the province of Volhynia, then part of the Russian Empire. Incorporated on May 18, 1911. Society was known by several alternate names, including: Dubner Vollener Verein, Dubner Wolhyner Verein, Dubner Wohliner Society, Dubner Woliner Verein, and Dubner Voliner Verein. Provided death benefits. Functioned as a burial society. Society used the Montefiore and United Hebrew cemeteries in Queens and Staten Island, NY.
