Yiddish journalist.  Contributed to several periodicals including the Yidishe velt (Philadelphia), Forverts (Chicago and N.Y.), Naye velt, Veker, Fraynd, and the Freie Arbeiter Stimme.  Noted for his human interest stories and articles about prominent people and important institutions.  Translated to Yiddish Bartolomeo Vanzetti’s The Story of a Proletariat Life (published by the Sacco-Vanzetti Defense Committee) as Di geshikhte fun an arbeyters leben (Boston, 1923).  Born in Jagielnica, Poland on October 13, 1895.  Studied in heder and later in gymnasium.  Immigrated to the United States in 1913.  Active in the Socialist Party.  Became a journalist in c. 1919.  Died in New York on September 22, 1973.
